Lisbeth Salander Is Death.

I found Lisbeth Salander's styling in the American remake of "Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" really odd and jarring when I first saw it.

Then something hit me:





Did someone actually just style her after Death in one of the most internationally famous Swedish movies ever?

And if they did, is that really clever or kind of pretentious?

Is it even an appropriate parallel?
