Listed somewhat geographically.

* Countries I could literally go to tomorrow if I had a ticket. They are all for up to a 90 day stay except Canada and the UK which are 180.
** Countries where I would also need something extra like a visa but they are fairly easy to attain (Turkey and Egypt offer them at the door for $20; Romania will soon be one asterisk).

Turns out it's actually a bigger pain for an American to get into Mexico than Turkey. Weird.

(Updated on 12-14-2012)

Unlike my previous list of countries, this one is more so countries I would like to stop by than ones I would like to spend a week in.

* Antarctica - Because that would be awesome to say I have been to every continent and it's a land of ice.
* Argentina - Because I want to see Buenos Aires.
* Belgium - Mainly because I want to go to Bruges and Brussels.
* Denmark - For Cohenhagen.
* Gibralter (if that counts) - It sounds like an interesting place.
* Hong Kong (if that counts) - It was recommended to me.
* Jordan - Because I have to go to Petra and the middle east is under represented because Turkey doesn't count and Israel is a different situation entirely.
* Monaco - Because it's a land of casinos.
* New Zealand - To compare to Australia/Lord of the Rings.
* Norway - I hear Oslo is nice and way better than Helsinki but not necessarily as good as Stockholm.
* Peru - To see Machu Picu. Actually, if I manage to do both lists, I will end up seeing all the wonders of the modern world.
* Portugal - I think this only didn't make it onto the first list because I wasn't sure what it had to offer. That being said, Lisbon really should be a stop and I hear Portugal has a lot of castles and old monasteries.
* South Africa - I only had north African places on my list and Alex seemed to like it.
* Thailand - There's some really interesting culture there and a language I can't begin to fathom.
* Ukraine - Because Kiev would be a good stop and a good place to expand my knowledge of the soviet era.
* Some island nation in the Caribbean. I don't really care which one though since they all seem to be pretty much the same.
